Welcome to the Drill Team!

There are armed and unarmed drill teams across the nation. Teams range from 9 to 26 members. Drill teams create, practice and perform a routine (approx. 8 to 10 minutes) at competitions (Drill Meets) at the local, state, regional and national level. These cadets have to perform in front of judges & get points based on how well their drill routine was executed. The drill team is dedicated to the teaching and perfecting of drill and ceremony rountines through repetitive sequences. The drill team also includes Exhibition & Color Guard.

Color Guard

Color Guard is four cadets who stand and march side by side. The two cadets on the outside carry rifles and one person on the inside carries the American flag while the other carries the flag of whatever state or military branch they represent. Color Guard is also dedicated to the teaching and perfecting of drill and ceremony rountines through repetitive sequences.

The Exhibtion team was recently started again in 2015 and has strived ever since. Exhibition is a team all about creativity and teamwork involving drill and rifle movements. The cadets incorporate new tricks and ideas with rifles into the routines they perform to appeal to all audiences and judges at competitions. Exhibition gives cadets a chance to win trophies while having a great time doing it.
